Since its introduction FireWire (1394) has become an easy method of connecting peripheral devices to your computer systems. It is the native connection for DV camcorders and is supported by nearly all video editing applications on the market. FireWire is also used for easily connecting external audio interfaces and storage to your computer. FireWire comes in too flavors FW400/1394a and FW800/1394b, with the FW800 being a faster interface. Besides storage devices, most FireWire products are still FW400/1394a. We also carry a wide selection of FireWire cables.
