Workstation Warranty & Technical Support Information


Hardware Support
Guy Graphics warrants all mechanical components and the mechanical condition of every workstation manufactured by Guy Graphics for 90 days after the original purchase date. This warranty in some instances is extended to three years as an option for the purchaser. This warranty covers any hardware failures assuming the original hardware has not been tampered with or changed. Hardware included in this coverage, but not limited to, may cover: hard drives, motherboard, sound card, video card, video capture card, memory, power supply, network cards, RAID systems, keyboard, mouse, etc.

Software Support
Guy Graphics’ support staff will provide basic technical support on your workstation and software included with your purchase, provided they have not been altered from their original configuration. Any changes made to your workstation, both hardware or software, will not be covered by Guy Graphics. We will only support our original settings and configuration.

Shipping Support
Due to our quality testing and certification of your workstation by our qualified staff, your workstation leaves Guy Graphics in prime operating condition. Since we have little control over the shipping industry, all of our workstations are packaged to premium shipping codes and insured for the full value of your workstation. But per UPS, Fed-Ex, and USPS policy any damage caused during shipping must be reported within 30 days of receiving your package. Due to this, we recommend immediately setting up and testing your workstation to ensure that nothing was damaged during shipment. If a shipping claim needs to be placed, please allow our shipping department to assist you. Shipping damages that are not reported within the first 14 days of arrival will not be supported by your warranty.

General Support
In order to help resolve support issues our support staff will make evaluations based on personal experience, product reviews, manufacturer’s specifications, reports from other users, etc. We make no guarantee that a particular product will work in a specific situation. Guy Graphics does, however guarantee the computers hardware configuration, and software condition and settings at the time of shipment from our facility.

If a customer has in any way abused or misused products or equipment purchased from Guy Graphics, they will be financially responsible for repairs or replacement that may be necessary.

Any failure due to viruses, poor environmental conditions, user misuse, dropping the equipment, or any ill treatment is not covered under warranty. Guy Graphics upon inspection will determine the cause of failure, and if it is found that hardware or Guy Graphics is responsible then all repairs will be made at no cost to the customer. However, if it is determined that Guy Graphics is not responsible, and it is not a hardware error, any repairs or services provided will be charged to the customer.

Any time a computer system is sent to Guy Graphics for service or repairs, Guy Graphics will not be responsible for any data loss that may occur. In the severity of certain problems it sometimes becomes necessary to remove all data from a given hard drive and replace it. The customer is responsible for backing up any desired data before shipping the system to Guy Graphics.

Any hardware or software additions made to a Guy Graphics computer system by the customer is not under warranty and is not provided toll-free technical support.

It is assumed that customers purchasing computer components from Guy Graphics have sufficient computer knowledge in basic and intermediate using of computer and Windows functions and applications to perform most functions needed to install and use these products. Therefore only a limited amount of support will be provided for basic computer operation.

If a customer feels in any way inadequately experienced to perform the installation of a given component, it is strongly recommended that the computer system be shipped to Guy Graphics for installation. Fees will be added for Guy Graphics’ services of installation, however future support will be provided for this product if needed.

Warranty support is nontransferable. Guy Graphics will only cover warranty issues with the original owner of the workstation. In the case of company purchase, the warranty will be applicable to employee use provided the workstation is still owned by the company.
