HDSPARK – Nonlinear Editing and HDMI Output
The HDSPARK solution is designed to support the increasing number of video professionals who are using tapeless acquisition and simply need to see their projects output in real time, using affordable HDMI monitors. Based on the PCI Express form factor, the HDSPARK board features an HDMI output for fullresolution, real-time preview monitoring. Embedded HDMI audio and separate stereo RCA jacks provide high-quality audio monitoring. It’s ideal for tapeless editing or working in a file-based, networked environment.
This model includes an upgrade copy of EDIUS nonlinear editing software. This version is ideal for current users of EDIUS 4.x. Also included are the plug-ins, applications, and sample material (valued at over $1,000) which come with the EDIUS software. The only application that is not included is TitleMotion Pro, which is available separately.

Minimum System Requirements
HDSPARK is capable of editing both SD and HD content in real time, however the system requirements for real-time HD editing are significantly higher than for SD editing. The requirements shown here are for real-time HD editing.
Intel or AMD CPU with a 3 GHz processor speed or faster (multiple CPUs and/or multi-core CPUs are recommended - minimum SSE2 instruction set required)
1 GB RAM (2 GB or more recommended)

800 MB or more space required for software installation
Drive with ATA100/7,200 rpm or faster capable of sustaining at least 20 MB/s data transfer
Available HDD disk space should be twice the size of the file to be edited
A RAID stripe set of two or more hard disk drives is required for multiple HD stream output
