MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 Encoding Hardware for Developers Featuring a full Windows® software development kit for application developers, MVRD4400 offers high-quality, real-time hardware-based MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 encoding with the ability to filter, stabilize and enhance analog source video prior to MPEG encoding.
Powerful pre-filtering features in MVRD4400 include advanced 3D Y/C separation to reduce color noise and improve image quality, 3D digital noise reduction to eliminate noise in the analog video signal, a line time base corrector (LTBC) to correct any video images that jitter, as well as digital frame synchronization and auto gain controls.
Important Note: MVRD4400 does not ship with MPEG capture/playback software.
MVRD4400: Key Features
Real-time encoding of MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 with true IBP frame and VBR support SDK for custom application design with backwards-compatibility with applications designed for MVRD4000 hardware Support for live capture of analog video to MPEG, with analog input filtering to clean and enhance source material Time Lapse capture support, ideal for CCTV and surveillance applications Enhanced video overlay circuitry allows multiple MVRD4400 boards in one system to be used without affecting overall system performance NTSC and PAL support (conversion not supported) Compatible with Grass Valley MediaEdge systems, for live video streaming and capture
