MPEGcraft DVD provides high-quality creation and editing of MPEG video clips, allowing users to cut, stitch, mix and re-encode MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video clips while preserving their original video quality. MPEGcraft DVD is ideal for fast, frame-accurate editing of MPEG clips without long encoding times or the need to re-render new
MPEG clips.

Once an MPEG sequence is edited, MPEGcraft DVD's authoring capabilities can either burn directly to a disc or generate DVD-Video system files for future authoring.
MPEGcraft DVD supports manual inclusion of chapter points at any position on the timeline. Additionally, MPEGcraft DVD can automatically create chapter points that occur at the start of each new clip, or scan the timeline for scene changes in the footage. DVD titles can also be authored to repeat playback indefinitely, which is ideal for advertising kiosks, video displays and information booths.

Additional hardware support for MPEGcraft DVD includes Canopus MPEG encoding hardware such as
DVStorm2 Pro for faster encoding of video and a
