Smart DV©: Included Smart DV© is an included option that lets you use your DAC 15 to connect an analog monitor while you are transferring a DV-25 signal from a recorder or camera into a computer.
Analog: S–Video I/O The DAC-15 has a standard S-Video I/O so you can record or play HI8 or SVHS signals.
Analog: Composite Video I/O, Unbalanced Audio I/O This connector will feed a video monitor to display what is being recorded onto a Betacam deck. Play or record traditional (composite) video from a camera, VHS deck, TV set out, etc. Please see balanced to unbalanced audio converter accessory shown below.
Analog: Component Y.U.V. I/O Betacam to or from DV. Includes a blackburst generator (see below) to synch the deck to the DAC–10.
Analog: Blackburst Output Use this blackburst output to lock a betacam deck to the DAC–10.
Digital: Two DV (IEEE 1394) I/O Convert a signal and feed it into a computer and a HDD recorder at the same time.
Controls: Color Adjustment Works on All Formats Phase rotation and hue (NTSC only) are wonderful controls for real time tweaks. Tint cannot be adjusted on YUV Inputs. Contrast and Tint cannot be adjusted on DV Inputs.
Controls: Audio Input Level Control Imagine, being able to set the audio level at each step of the conversion process.
Controls: Push Buttons to Select Video Input & Output All of the cables remain attached. Select the input and output by pushing buttons. The last setup is always saved on power down. Turn the DAC–15 off and on without reconfiguring.
