Integrated, turnkey 2U rackmount system for real-time encoding of video and audio content. Single channel analogue and digital input model offers high quality video/audio capture from analogue, DV and professional digital sources.
It provides composite video (BNC), S-Video, DV (via IEEE 1394), SDI (SMTPE-259M) video with embedded SDI audio, unbalanced stereo audio, balanced stereo audio (XLR), and professional digital audio (AES/EBU) via included 1U rackmount breakout panel. Video and audio monitoring is available via a separate breakout cable.
System also includes; Niagara SCX remote encoder management and control software for monitoring and control of multiple, remote or distributed streaming encoders throughout an enterprise or across the Internet; Osprey SimulStream feature supports multiple concurrent streams of RealNetworks Real Video and Microsoft Windows Media at variable bit rates.
Dual Xeon™ processor system, dual gigabit Ethernet, DVD/CD-RW drive, (2) serial ATA 160-gigabyte hard drives in RAID configuration. Capable of adding two additional cold swap ATA hard drives. DVD-RW w/Nero software, Helix Producer Plus, Windows Media Encoder V9 and Windows XP Professional.
