The industry standard on stage or in the studio, the round base mic stand is a staple of stages around the world. The 9lb. sand-cast base is sturdy enough for road abuse, yet light enough to carry. This chrome stand sports a die-cast zinc clutch. Solid cast end with standard 5/8-27 threads. Die-cast zinc clutch locks stand height in place from 34"- 60". Internal "counter clutch" mechanism holds upper shaft in place until desired height adjustments are made.This prevents microphones from crashing down when clutch is loosened. Chrome finish used on all MS7201C tubing. Solid die-cast base with rubber padding for reduced floor vibrations.
